“Selkie’s Life” is a song about taking care of yourself and finding happiness. It was written about my love of the ocean. Instead of me longing to get back to the ocean, I wrote it from the perspective of a male selkie who left it’s life as a seal in the ocean to live on land as a human for a while, only to be called back to the ocean. The music is very beach inspired by and flowing.
