My friend Dawn Laney asked me to write a song for people with Krabbe disease. This is a rare and often fatal lysosomal storage disease that results in progressive damage to the nervous system. She wrote the lyrics, and I set them to music.


The song is about overcoming fear and having hope that by fighting, learning, researching the disease together, that they will find a cure.
